By submitting this application, the Vendor confirms they have read, understood and agreed to abide the responsibilities, conditions, and terms set forth by the Coralville Asian Festival. The Vendor acknowledges that failure to comply with these requirements may result in removal from the event and possible disqualification from future participation.
1. Vendor will arrive at the designated time specified in the organizing committee's email sent the week prior to the event for vehicle unloading and booth setup.
2. All fees must be paid in full prior to the event in order for the Vendor to be permitted to setup.
3. Pop-up tents are not allowed unless approved in advance by the organizing committee. If unauthorized tents are set up, the organizing committee reserves the right to require their immediate removal.
4. Vendor is responsible for providing their own equipment and supplies.
5. Vendor must be open and fully operational during the official Festival hours unless a prior agreement has made with the organizing committee.
6. Vendor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in their assigned area, including the removal of trash, food scraps, and litter.
7. Tear-down and vehicle loading may only begin after the Festival has officially ended and the organizing committee announces that tear-down may commence.
8. Vendors are strictly prohibited from serving or selling alcohol.
9. The Coralville Asian Festival is not liable for any injury to vendors or participants, or any loss, theft, or damage to property, including but not limited to incidents caused by weather, fire, accidents, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
10. The Coralville Asian Festival reserves the right to deny or remove any booth or proposed booth that, in its sole judgement, does not align with the character or standards of the Festival. This includes, but is not limited to, decisions regarding individuals, behavior, merchandise, printed materials, food offerings, activities, and any other element impacting the Festival's overall atmosphere.
11. Vendor acknowledge and agrees the Coralville Asian Festival has the authority to limit, regulate, or prohibit any signage in order to maintain a consistent and cohesive visual presentation throughout the event.
12. Vendor arriving late for setup will not be permitted to participate.
13. Vendor must obtain a Temporary Food Permit and display it during the event. The application is available by contacting the Johnson County Public Health at 319-356-6040 or by visiting www.johnsoncountyiowa.gov.
14. Vendor is responsible for protecting all working areas, including grass and concrete, from oil and grease spills. All oil and grease must be properly collected in a suitable container and either disposed of appropriately or removed from the site.
