Performance Disclaimer:
Coralville Asian Festival highlights the culture and traditions of Asia. Performances and demonstrations must reflect some aspect of or connection with Asian cultures. Performance time slots will range from 5, 10, 15 minutes in order to guarantee diverse Asian representation and community engagement throughout the festival.
Performers are considered as volunteers and agree to be liable for their own risk in attending and performing for the Coralville Asian Festival. By submitting an application, the performer(s) agree to assume and accept the risks of and full responsibility for bodily injury, death, loss of personal property, and any expenses that may be suffered by the performer(s) resulting from any identified or unidentified dangers and risks associated with performing at the Coralville Asian Festival.
Coralville Asian Festival does not condone any political expressions or appeal against others. Coralville Asian Festival does not take a stance on Asian or international political relations.
Coralville Asian Festival reserves the right to reject any performers whose performance does not align with its family-friendly, non-political mission.
The stage is a metal outdoor structure that is fully exposed to weather conditions. The festival takes place rain or shine, and will only be canceled in its entirety in the event of dangerous conditions, such as lighting, tornado, etc.
